Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel

Comfort level of Bed and Room was superb. especially the SeaFood Restuarant has amazing Food.

Location is a bit issue. BUT, it cannot be changed :-)

Actually, we stayed last year, but this time they took 100 TRY for the internet, it is not acceptable for us, when we want to stay i. 5 stars hotel

Nothing i was there and system down for 2 days in the row - and the recipients were not helpful at all

The hotel is extra charging their guests 450TRY per day for parking the car.

My recent experience at the Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel fell short of expectations. The rooms felt uncomfortably stuffy due to the lack of openable windows. Images online suggest a beachfront setting; however, the hotel is actually situated along a coastline with polluted waters, which is misleading. Additionally, the hotel's remote location means it's far from Istanbul’s main attractions, leading to substantial taxi expenses. The breakfast options were very limited, lacking both variety and appeal. Furthermore, the buffet lunch was overpriced given the minimal choices offered. The housekeeping staff repeatedly "forgot" to replenish toiletries in the room, requiring multiple reminders and calls due to their constant unavailability. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, or value during their stay in Istanbul.

The room had a connecting door to another room even if closed you could hear the person in the other room speaking, or his TV turned on. Not acceptable for a 5 star hotel

Very clean, comfortable hotel with accommodating staff. Location is on the seaside which makes is very pleasant to be at. There are also restaurants in the hotel and nearby which is practical.

A little bit slower check-in and check out process than expected. If you wish to go to the city center it takes from 30 to 50 minutes depending on the time of the day.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean with a beautiful shower.

The rooms were fully carpeted and none of the rooms have windows which can be opened. Ventilation isn’t great.

None of the windows in any of the rooms open. This is the only negative for me as I like to get fresh air in my room.

Windows don’t open in rooms.

Very nice hotel with great amenities. Location is not great for touring Istanbul but we were there for an event so it was great. Some nice shops and coffee spots are around

The elevators are very slow and take a really long time.

Good location near the sea with panorama view towards the city, nice facilities, helpful staff.

The breakfast was good & personal was friendly and really OK.And location is really super.

What was not nice and very dissappointing is that we asked for a NON smoking room and all 3 of us had a room with heavy smoke smell it is really discusting if you are not a smoker yourself.That is really not ok, Non Smoking means really Non Smoking!Hope next time this request can be given to us.

Fantastic Pool and breakfast buffet was exceptional

I didn’t realise it was a good 25 mins cab ride from the centre and up to an hour if you get caught in peak hour traffic at the d d of the day. In the plus side close to train which is 15 min - although as a solo woman I was weary of using train at night.
